when i came across kinfolk magazine it took my breath away. styling itself as a guide for those who love small gatherings, this new publication features amazing photographs of small moments: coffee alone, a folding table set for two, an assortment of cloth napkins drying in the sun. there are quite a few great online publications out, but kinfolk feels fresh - not too much styling and touched with an easy cool. divided into sections on gatherings for one, tandem and few, the publication is scheduled to be released twice annually. i'm already looking forward to issue two.
